Welcome To Gold Prospector
Hi!
Let me take this moment to welcome you to Gold Prospector.
A year and a half ago I moved to Southern Arizona and shortly after took a gold prospecting class at our local community college. There were only six of us in the class and we were able to really get to know our instructor Tom T.
He is a real life gold prospector, who even looks the part! When asked how much he had made prospecting over the years his reply was “I have had a million dollars worth of fun”. I thought wow! You really can make money prospecting. I thought it would be a fun hobby, sort of like Treasure Hunting. Well prospecting for gold is a fun hobby that can pay for itself and more. One just needs the knowledge of how, a few tools and a strong back. It is great exercise.
Anyway, my friends and I are having so much fun that I thought I would start this blog. We have found a bit of gold and are getting better and better at finding the right places to look!
I am working on providing links for all the tools you would need, also clothing, boots, maps etc. I am in no way done.
I would sure love to share any prospecting stories, articles and or video’s you have created. Being a Gold Prospector is not only fun but is very interesting to a lot of people. I enjoy sharing my fun and adventures with others and I welcome you to do the same here.
